I've dealt with horrible mortgage companies in the past. I'm here to stay with Veterans Untied. Christopher Robinson and the team he works with, are absolutely phenomenal.

"Scott, Santrice, and Jeffery were instrumental in helping us find our dream home, which turned out to be quite a challenging task. Their unwavering commitment and determination truly stood out throughout the entire process. We greatly appreciate their caring approach and their willingness to go the extra mile to make sure we found the ideal property to make our own." Thank you so much . You get 1,000 stars
Veterans United rocks! From start to finish, my team of rock stars were very helpful and informative. They not only gave me personal attention, they made sure I was in the loop about every aspect of the loan process!
I would not ever recommend them to anyone. After all the digging into me and my wife's finances, they kept changing the number to help the seller. The people they got to, so-called help use were a joke. They kept changing the closing date because they were trying to find a way to make more money off us. A lot of the stuff they were asking us was the same stuff we had already given them. A lot of stuff was so last-minute to help them take advantage of us being first-time buyers. They should not be using the name Veteran United, they are just taking advantage of us because they know the money is guaranteed from the VA. So please beware and find other people who know about the process to help you. And whatever you do not trust their word about anything, get a second opinion. You also need to keep a close eye on thier documents and the numbers becaused they will keep changing them tto make your loan go higher and here if they see they can squeeze more out of you so be very very carefull.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Alexander,
I’m really sorry for how this felt. I hear how upsetting it was to see numbers change, to be asked for the same documents again, and to have closing dates move. I can understand why you’d feel taken advantage of, especially as first-time buyers. That’s not the experience you should have had, and I’m sorry it left you feeling this way.

Your feedback helps us see where we fell short on communication and expectations. If you’re open to it, my Client Advocate team can review your disclosures, timelines, and any last-minute document requests with you to bring clarity and address your concerns. You can reach us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com.

There help me with everything from credit reports and closing costs.
It's hard for me to not come to tears when writing how I feel about my experience with Veterans United and their partners. About 15 feet away my daughter is sleeping soundly in her new room. The joy on her face since I was handed the keys to our new home has given me a relief I have not had in years. It's been a hard road from when I left the Army with severe PTSD and physical injuries. I never could have imagined this experience turning out as great as it has. Veterans United didn't just help me put a roof over our head. They made me feel proud of my service, empathized with my mistakes and recognized how much hard work I have put in to provide a better life for my daughter. If you have doubts, like I did in the beginning, make a phone call. They will let you know exactly where you stand and exactly what you will have to do to achieve home ownership. They never once made me feel less than because of my mistakes. They only provided solutions on how to resolve them. I will wrap this up in saying, if you choose Veterans United you will not be disappointed. If you want to be treated with the respect you earned serving in the military, you will find it at Veterans United. Highly recommended, especially for those of you like me, who have been working hard to reverse damage from past mistakes.
They were true, honest attentive to every detail to make buying a home as smooth as could be.

As a first time home buyer many things can be confusing but Veterans United was there with every step of the way guiding our family through the process. Their platform made it easy to submit documents with a to do checklist so nothing would get missed!
I recommend Veterans United to anyone - veteran or non veteran - looking to purchase a new home. Their streamlined process of setting up an online account allows you to see every step without missing out on any process they require you to do. Their staff we felt was very professional and accurate in every process we went through.
Easy process, my loan officer made everything smooth. Glad I went with VU for my first home purchase.
