We actually had gone to another loan servicer prior to using VU and we didn't have a good experience. We tried VU based on recommendations from family who have used them previously and praised their experience there. From start to finish everyone was very professional, quick to answer our questions thoroughly, and even got us a housewarming gift. The whole team worked very hard to process paperwork and explain the process of how the loan is being worked and why requests for information were made. Communication was great, VU was always available if I had questions and always asked if there was any thing I needed. Overall, great job by the team I had at VU.
